Olivet College of Art and Design (OCAD) received a generous donation of over 200 lithograph art pieces from a private contributor, Michael Agron, a businessman from Pomona, CA. Delivered to University last week, the art works which includes 10 different sets of lithographs from artists Della Costa, Leal, and Elke Sommeres.
Faculty, students, and staff of OCAD were pleasantly surprised at this new addition to the College. One OCAD student shared her enthusiasm about the artwork saying, "I believe these appealing pieces will be a source of inspiration for the design art works."
OCAD Program Director Ginturn Tran expressed his appreciation on behalf of the school, by extending his "warmest thanks to the Agron family for this contribution and the work to coordinate its arrival".
The prints will be displayed in the University's library throughout the Spring 2009 semester.
