Olivet has purchased library and bookstore furniture in New York covering 17,000 square feet stacked end to end. The furniture was acquired in preparation for the establishment of a bookstore and libraries to support the future needs of students in New York.
Volunteer crews moved and unloaded the furniture from 30 trucks at a location in Long Island. The furniture will be stored there while the sites for Olivet's bookstore and future libraries are readied.
Olivet maintains quality and sizeable library collections at several sites in New York. This bookstore and library development initiative were instituted to enhance these collections, as well as Olivet's total student support services in New York.
